Licensed asphalt paving throughout Shreveport, Bossier City & Haughton & Benton & Blanchard, and surrounding Northwest Louisiana. Free callbacks, walk-through quotes, no pressure.
A well-striped lot moves traffic efficiently, minimizes fender-benders, and passes ADA inspection on the first try. A poorly-striped lot creates confused traffic patterns, wastes revenue by fitting fewer cars than the pavement can hold, and creates legal exposure when accessible spaces don’t meet code. Striping is 2–3% of the paving budget on new-build; getting it wrong is disproportionately expensive.
We stripe new installations and restripe existing lots. Line paint on hot-mix asphalt is either water-based latex (dry-to-touch 30 minutes, no VOC concerns) or oil-based alkyd (more durable, harder cure, needs longer dry). For most Shreveport commercial work, high-quality latex applied at proper mil thickness performs equivalently to oil-based and cures faster — the lot is back open within an hour of the last line.
Federal ADA rules require a specific count of accessible spaces relative to total: 1 accessible per 25 total spaces up to 100, then a sliding scale. Of the accessible count, 1 in 6 must be van-accessible (or 1 minimum). Each accessible stall needs a 5’ adjacent access aisle (8’ for van-accessible), an ISA symbol painted in the stall, signage at 5’ minimum mounting height, and a smooth path of travel with maximum 2% cross-slope to the building entry.
State and local codes can add more. Louisiana defers to federal ADAAG on parking; City of Shreveport enforces through the building permit process. We layout to code and provide a signed as-built for the file.
Fire lanes in Louisiana are painted yellow with 4" letters spelling FIRE LANE NO PARKING at intervals; local fire marshal has authority on exact spacing. Loading zones are typically white with LOADING ZONE stenciled at the head. Directional arrows and stop bars follow MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) standards. Stall numbering, tenant reservations, and EV-only markings are all part of a normal commercial striping package.
